Pierson's Scooter Hit-and-Run Recovery

Hey there, Pierson and I thought we'd start here as so many of you have recently reached out!

On January 3rd, 2025, Pierson was riding his brand new E-Scooter home from the gym to get ready for his work shift that evening, when he was struck by a black 4-door sedan that later fled the scene. Pierson was in a crosswalk, had looked for cars, and it had seemed that all had followed the law and stopped for him. Unfortunately, one individual did not stop and hit him while he was using the crosswalk. He had just received his scooter and was very thankful because it was also his main Christmas gift!

Since the accident, many of you have asked how to help. So many have offered to replace or repair, and we thought this might be the best place for that as we'd just feel bad if it were resting on one individual's shoulders. Although I feel uneasy accepting the help, I didn't want to say no because I know that many do find helping others truly rewarding. We both appreciate it so incredibly much!! Please feel free to leave whatever amount you would like. Our goal is to replace the scooter, get a riding jacket with some light armor as well as a helmet. We have also reached out to local news to help raise awareness of the hit-and-runs in our area!
