In Loving Memory of Pierre Damas Bel

It is with a broken heart that I share the tragic loss of my beloved son, Pierre Damas Bel, who passed away at just 20 years old.

Pierre was a bright, loving, and hardworking young man with so much life ahead of him. He was studying Neuroscience and had been working toward his future, including opportunities for scholarships worth up to $10,000. He had dreams, goals, and so much potential.

In the period leading up to his death, Pierre was going through an extremely difficult situation. After ICE placed a monitoring device on his ankle, his emotional and mental struggles became overwhelming, and tragically, he reached a point where he took his own life. Losing a child this way is a pain that words cannot describe.

Our family is now trying to prepare for his funeral, which will take place next week, while also dealing with the financial burden that comes with this unexpected tragedy. We do not currently have work authorization, which makes it extremely difficult for us to work and cover these expenses ourselves.
