Pier to Pier St Barnabas Fundraiser Walk

St Barnabas House and nurses were amazing to mother in her final months allowing mother her to die with dignity and as comfortable as humanly possible in her own home with the heroic aid of my auntie Dawn. I want to give back in some way so doing a Worthing pier to Brighton Palace pier walk on Saturday October 14th. Roo Farah isn’t quite ready to come out retirement just yet as don’t fancy a long run but a long walk accustomed to my needs seems more doable. When I say my needs I mean a fat boy brecky at Perch on the Pier at 9am then start the walk to Brighton but when I reach Hove sometime early in the afternoon the walk will turn into a pub crawl for the final straight finishing at Horatio’s with hopefully some karaoke. Now I get I’m asking for donations so I can essentially go boozing but it’s pretty hard slog before any beer passes the lips and it’s kind of a reward to look forward towards the end. I know times are hard so sticking a ton in the pot myself and even better than donating would be to join me and possibly collect donations yourself but happy to do it on me tod if not.
