Pier to Pier challenge
Donation protected
In May, during Mental Health Awareness Week, myself and Ed will be taking part in a fundraising challenge to support The Proper Blokes, an incredible initiative focused on encouraging men to open up about their mental health. The challenge involves walking 85 miles, non-stop, from Deal Pier to Eastbourne Pier, following the stunning British coastline.
This walk is not only a physical challenge, but also a chance to raise awareness about the importance of mental health, especially among men. Too often, men are reluctant to talk about their struggles, and this challenge aims to break down those barriers. By walking together, we will highlight the power of conversation and support in improving mental wellbeing.
Exercise has long been known to benefit physical health, but it also plays a crucial role in supporting mental health. The endorphins released during physical activity can help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. This walk is a reminder of how staying active can positively impact both mind and body.
we will be walking to raise funds that will directly support The Proper Blokes in their work, helping to create safe spaces for men to share their mental health experiences and find support. Your donations will make a real difference in spreading this important message and providing vital resources for men in need.
Please consider supporting this cause, whether by donating or sharing our message. Together, we can help change the way men think and talk about their mental health.
