Hi, we're Chris and Alysia, and we’re reaching out with open hearts and hopeful spirits.

In October, we’ll be celebrating 14 years together and 4 years of marriage. From the very beginning, we’ve shared the dream of one day building a family of our own. It’s a dream rooted in love, joy, and a deep desire to nurture and grow alongside a child.

Over the past year, that dream has been tested more than we could have imagined. In July of last year, we experienced the unimaginable: the loss of our son, Rowan, at 22 weeks. Losing him shattered us in ways we’re still trying to heal from. He was deeply loved and wanted, and not a day goes by that we don’t carry him in our hearts. His life, though brief, changed us forever.

Since then, we've faced a series of additional heartbreaks including multiple miscarriages, the most recent just this week. Each time we’ve hoped, we’ve also grieved. The emotional toll has been overwhelming, but we’re still holding onto hope.

All I’ve ever wanted is to become a mother. I’ve built a career working with children, inspired every day by their resilience, imagination, and joy. Chris is endlessly kind, patient, and steady, and I know without a doubt he will be the most incredible father. The way he has loved and supported me through every loss has only strengthened my belief that we are meant to raise a child together.

Despite everything, we still believe in our dream. We are now turning to IVF, our best chance at bringing our baby safely into this world. As many people know, IVF is not only emotionally demanding but also financially overwhelming.

Once all the pieces are “bought,” we’ll assemble and frame the puzzle to hang in our future baby’s room. It will serve as a lasting reminder of the love, hope, and community that helped bring them into our arms.
