We are Katie, Sarah and Val. On behalf of Uvalde CISD, we are fundraising to purchase picnic tables for the school that will be absorbing students from Robb Elementary School. Robb Elementary School, the location of the recent school shooting that killed 19 children and two teachers and wounded at least 17 others, is being demolished and rebuilt.

Val grew up in the area of Texas where this shooting happened, and we are all committed to helping this community rebuild and heal.

We wanted to do something tangible that would directly help students deal with their trauma. These picnic tables will allow for outdoor lunches, meetings, and lessons and provide great counseling spaces. The campus has a brick courtyard outside the cafeteria and a shaded grassy area. These spaces do not have any seating currently, but with your help, we can change that.

We have spoken directly with the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent and Executive Director of Communications at Uvalde CISD and they have provided the exact tables they wish to purchase.

4 of the 46" Round Portable Picnic Tables, Burgandy: $1,107 each

When the funds are raised we will purchase the tables and send them directly to the district warehouse. We are so appreciative of any and all contributions! Let's get this done for this community.
