We need your help to keep Pickleball alive!!
The Pickleball courts we play on in our small community in the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan desperately need to be resurfaced.
The harsh winter weather is brutal on the courts requiring them to be resurfaced twice as often as most other places in the US.
Please help us keep this rural town in the game!
Our small community of around 1,300 in the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan has discovered a passion for pickleball, and it’s brought together people of all ages—from high school students to those in their 80s. Over the past few years, our Pickleball Club has grown to 53 dedicated members, many playing on a daily basis. For many, these games are more than just a way to stay active; they’re a chance to connect, make new friends, and improve their health and well-being. Some of our older members have shared how pickleball gives them a reason to get out, exercise, and stay engaged with others when they might not otherwise have the opportunity.
Our dream is to create permanent, high-quality pickleball courts that will serve our community for years to come. These courts would allow us to continue hosting our annual July tournament, which brings in players from across Michigan and beyond, supporting local businesses and putting our community on the map. Without your help, we may not be able to host this event again next year. With your help, we can keep our pickleball community thriving, offer more opportunities for people to play, and ensure that everyone—from teens to seniors—has a welcoming and safe place to stay active and connected.
