Phoenix Family at USC

Camp Phoenix Family is a medical student-run day event for children who survived a serious burn injury in partnership with Burn Unit attending doctors. The aftermath of a burn injury often can involve severe physical limitations, considerable stress, and diminished self-esteem. Through Camp Phoenix Family, we will provide resources for these children to cultivate a sense of belonging and solidarity with others who survived a serious burn injury. We hope that the encouragement and empowerment these children gain through Phoenix Family will translate beyond camp into all aspects of their life, including their mental and physical health, education, and life goals. We appreciate any help you can give to assist us in providing the best experience for our campers!
