Hi friends!

Phiona's personal story is hers to tell but something exciting that we would love to share with you is that we have recently been reunited with her birth family in Uganda. As you know, access to clean water is a major factor in the mortality rate in rural villages as many of the local watering holes harbor diseases such as malaria, typhoid, and polio. Many families have to walk literal miles just to reach these tainted watering holes.

If you know Phiona, you know the heart she has for others- always wanting to help and putting others before herself. It is our goal to come alongside Phiona in raising $5000USD to provide a clean water well for her family's village in Uganda. We will partner with WILL (Water is Long Life) Ministries in Iganga, Uganda to drill this well as soon as the funds have been secured and then it is our hope to return to Uganda next summer to see the reality of clean water!

If we are fortunate to raise more than the $5000, all additional funds will be spent on helping Phiona's family purchase items such as chickens and goats that they can use for farming and food.
