As many of you know Hurricane Matthew tore up North Carolina causing 1.5 billion in damage and killing 26 people.
Our friends, the Phillips, Doreen (Castracane), Darren and Josh, were lucky enough to be in Jersey during the storm but have lost everything back at home. Cars, furniture, housing, clothes-it’s all gone. Thankfully they have been surviving by staying with friends temporarily. Friday night (Oct. 28th) we are bringing our camper trailer down for them to use as housing on their property so they can be onsite with horses, dogs, cat, n the chickens getting back to a semi-normal life. As this point they are still awaiting word on if house will be rebuilt or bought out-a terrible limbo with no immediate answers in sight but the mortgage is still due and the bills keep coming. The trailer is small and has limited storage so at this point money is the best and easiest way to help our friends in need.
