Phill Keelan

Hi, My name is Joff, last week we lost our beloved Phil, my Brother on the 5th of March . He was a wonderful father to Cory, Erin and Brody and Step Father to KC, Charlie and Jack. He doesn't just leave behind his children but also his Partner Suzie, his loving Mother Pauline and Father Terry as well as his three siblings Corinna, Anna and Myself.

He will also be terribly missed by his best friends Ashley, Johnny, Steve and Ffion.

Phil met some of these friends whilst he served in the Army as a Medic, where he did tours of both Bosnia and Kosovo.

After his time in the Army, Phil needed help with some of the trauma he'd experienced whilst on tour, so he spent as much time as possible in nature and the great outdoors. He would spend all his time in his Yurt (Mongolian tent) in his back garden or on the beach looking for Roman artifacts in the sand, or camping in the woods with his Army friends.

Phil showed true strength over the years whilst recovering from PTSD and we couldn't have been more prouder of his journey and progress.

Unfortunately he suffered a bleed on his brain which eventually caused a massive stroke that he was unable to recover from.

Any donation made after his funeral will now go to his children and they take over the running of the house and at ages 18 and 17 it will not be an easy learning curve for them both.
