Restoration of Mousehole Rock Pool

Friends of Mousehole Rock Pool Committee with the support of the local community, Cornwall Community Foundation, Cooperative Funding, Good Growth Prosperity Fund and our generous Go Fund Me donors to date, aim to complete the full restoration of the Rock Pool in October 2025. 

The Pool was originally built by local volunteers in 1969-70 with much of the building materials donated by a local quarry. Fundraising was carried out in Mousehole and the remains of a WW2 welcome home fund along with a collection box, covered all the costs. 

The Friends formed a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in 2023 aiming to save the wonderful tidal pool, which had fallen into a dreadful state of disrepair, for future generations. 

We rely totally on donations to maintain the Pool, which is at the mercy of tides and storms. Your contribution will ensure that the Pool structure is repaired where necessary and we can cover the cost of a marine licence which is required to carry out this work.
