Our beloved Peter and his incredible piano. They are quite a duo! Every week since the beginning of COVID, they have faithfully brought the neighborhood music, joy, and togetherness. Rain, snow, wind, for 2 people or 30 people, they play on. Neighbors continually say it is the highlight of their week, and it is definitely the highlights of ours.
Pete was storing this beautiful piano for a friend, and now this friend is ready to sell it. He will sell it to Pete at a deep discount, but it is still more than we have to spend on it. Two years ago, with tears in both our eyes, we agreed to get Pete a grand piano, after months of testing ones out in his price range, he was ready to throw in the towel, when this magical one appeared.
As you all know, music, and gifting music is Pete's work, his medicine, to himself, to the neighborhood, and to anyone who stops to listen.
