Fundraiser Story

Hello! My name is Rosy, and I have this amazing opportunity to go on a mission trip with the Catholic Newman Center at Drexel University.

I will be traveling to Pamplona Alta in Lima, Peru during March of this year. I will be going with 20 other college students, FOCUS missionaries, and a priest to serve and work alongside locals. We will be directly ministering to their material and spiritual needs (the village we are visiting only has a priest to come and say Mass every 6 months), as well as simply visiting people who may feel forgotten and insignificant – honoring their dignity as sons and daughters of God. Through this mission trip I hope to grow closer to God as I serve His people in Peru.

I invite you to join us on our mission in Peru. In order for me to go serve God’s people in Peru, I need to develop a team of partners, people like you, who will give to make this trip possible. You can join me in this mission in a couple of ways – with your prayers and with a financial gift. I need to raise $1,800 to pay for my mission fee, food, transportation, and for the construction projects we’ll be doing over in Peru to help the community and kids. To meet this goal as quickly as possible, gifts of $100, $150, or $200+ are greatly needed. There are no minimums or maximums and all gifts are truly appreciated!
