For over 125 years, Perry Street Social Club has stood as a cornerstone of our community—a place where generations have gathered, supported one another, and built lifelong friendships. Founded in the early 1890s, the club has weathered wars, cultural shifts, and countless challenges, always remaining a safe and welcoming space for local people.

Today, however, this historic institution is facing one of its greatest threats: mounting VAT bills and outstanding debts that could force its doors to close for good. After reviewing the club’s financial position, we estimate that an investment of approximately £20,000–£30,000 is required to stabilise operations, clear urgent liabilities, and secure the club’s future.

We are launching this fundraiser to protect the legacy of Perry Street Social Club and ensure it continues to serve our community for the next century and beyond. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to preserving this irreplaceable piece of our shared history.
