Period products for refugee and migrant women in Hobart.

Days for Girls Derwent is a local group of women who meet in Bridgewater to create kits of fabric reusable menstrual pads for women in need. These are an economic and environmentally sustainable alternative to disposal products and allow women and girls to remain engaged in work and education,
which in turn improves communities.
We have recently partnered with the Migrant Resource Centre in Glenorchy to provide women's health education and free kits of period products to refugees and migrants in the women's group. We aim to expand our distribution to include girls and young women through the MRC drop-in youth activities.
We're asking for your support to purchase all the materials required to produce 160 kits @ $25 per kit. These kits will be accompanied by women's health education sessions and will support to refugee and migrant women and girls in our Hobart community!
