Peregrin's Gender Affirming Care Fund.

Hello! My name is Peregrin, Pippin for short, Pip for shorter!

I'm a non-binary artist & animator living in the UK. Gender dysphoria, especially my chest dysphoria, has been a great factor in the decline of my mental health which is why I am asking for all the help I can get so that I can start truly feeling like myself again.

With the current conditions of the NHS waitlist, I'm reaching out to get help towards moving to private care with my diagnosis & top surgery, as I don't know if I can wait the estimated 4-5 year wait for my first appointment, let alone the wait after that to get surgery.

Due to the state of the animation industry as of the moment, I have been struggling to find work to save up on my own to get the care I need. I'm asking for £9000 to help cover getting my gender dysphoria diagnosis and top surgery in Greece with Dr Ntanos. I've broken down the rough costs below.

Private gender dysphoria diagnosis: £500 + £350 for any follow up appointments.

Maximum cost of top surgery under Dr Ioannis Ntanos: £6000

Two return flights to Greece from the UK: roughly £400 based on current costs during peak months.

Hotel, food & additional travel costs: roughly £600-800 based on current hotel and Air B&B costs.

The remainder of the funds are for contingency, in the event that something happens during surgery, the travel to Greece, or unexpected costs arise.
