It is with deep sadness to say that Michael Maxwell has passed away. After years of struggling, Michael is finally at peace. It is so difficult for us to reach out and create this gofundme. Addiction is difficult. It’s brutally tragic and messy, and it leaves behind a mixture of emotions and grief like no other death.

Michael was just 46 years old. The reality of what Mike left us with is a burden not meant to be carried alone. His daughters, Lori (19) and Nikki (17) lost their dad due to his alcoholism. But he wasn’t just an alcoholic, he was so much more than his disease.

Lori and Nikki are devastated and my heart breaks for them.

With this addiction, many financial obligations were left unfulfilled, mainly to us. Please help guide Lori and Nikki towards a life that Mike wished he could have given them.
