Pentraeth U13s Football Team have been given an incredible opportunity to attend a prestigious football tournament at Leeds a premier league football Club, including the unforgettable experience of playing on the pitch Elland Road.

This opportunity comes at a crucial age for these boys as they move into their teenage years. Being part of a football team not only develops their skills on the pitch, but also teaches them important life values such as teamwork, discipline, confidence, commitment, and respect.

Last year, the team attended a tournament at West Bromwich Albion, where they achieved outstanding success by bringing home the European Championship trophy, proudly putting Pentraeth and Anglesey on the map. This achievement reflects the dedication, talent, and hard work of both the players and coaching staff.

To help make this next opportunity possible for every player, we are currently organising a sponsored walk for the boys to participate in. This will start at the Menai Bridge then along the straights to the Britannia Bridge. The boys will have a short break then head back towards the Menai Bridge to finish.

all money raised will go towards the tournament fees, the hire of a coach and hopefully a personalised t-shirt for the boys to keep.

There is also sponsorship opportunities if yourself or any local business you may be aware of who would like to sponsor the boys in attendance to the tournament.
