My name is Penny, and I’m a hardworking, dedicated student preparing for an incredible volunteer journey with My African Adventures to Zanzibar in the summer of 2027, after completing my A-Level exams.

This opportunity means the world to me. I’ll be immersing myself in the local community, taking part in meaningful building projects and supporting teaching in a rural school. My goal is to make a positive, lasting impact on the lives of the children and families I’ll be working with.

During my time in Zanzibar, I’ll be helping to support lessons in a local school as well as contributing to a building development project aimed at improving the school’s facilities. These improvements will help create a safer, more inspiring educational environment for students now and for generations to come.

To make this experience possible, I need to raise £2,700. This amount will cover the cost of the programme, including travel, accommodation, and towards materials for the community projects. I’m reaching out to friends, family, and kind supporters who may be able to help me reach this goal.
