On April 25th, in honor of what would've been my mother's 64th birthday, I will be cutting off 8+ inches of my hair to donate to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths program.
I have been blessed with ambundant head of hair and have always wanted to donate a haircut to make a wig for someone going through a tough time. The past two years have been filled with wonderful celebrations and I want to dedicate this occasion to help celebrate and support others in my mother's honor.
Depending on how much I can raise, your donations will be split to help support these two great organizations:
Bright Pink : My mother was a breast cancer survivor and very passionate about the cause. I now volunteer with Bright Pink to support and educate young women who are at elevated risk for developing breast and ovarian cancer.
American Cancer Society : In addition to its mission of eliminating all cancers, the ACS is the official partner of the Beautiful Lenghts program, helping to distribute wigs to cancer patients across the country.
