Penny Lane Wombles

Hi, I’m fundraising for our litter picking group Penny Lane Wombles.

We are a litter picking group that started 18th April 2022, originally we covered the Penny Lane area of South Liverpool but as we’ve grown we now cover Allerton, Mosley Hill, Aigburth, Aigburth Vale, Cressington, Wavertree, Smithdown Road, The Dales L15, Wavertree Garden Village, Garston, Toxteth and lots of places in between

We have 120+ volunteers who litter pick in their free time to make our area better

We have also taken on Penny Lane Community Garden across the road from Desserts by Dre, the donations have already helped us build planters and we are growing potatoes and hope to grow a lot more in the new beds - all for the community to help themselves with

We need to raise funds for kit including, high vis jackets, longer litter pickers, a first aid kit, graffiti removal paste, paint scrapers, signage, posters for shops
