The Lucy Gal Project is a tribute to Tuskegee Airman Leland Pennington, who went MIA in 1945 and was never found. Pennington trained in the AT-6 Texan and flew the iconic P-51 Mustang (his was named 'Lucy Gal') in World War II. Our goal is to recreate a flying memorial that honors his legacy and brings untold stories to airshows, classrooms, and community spaces.
This fundraiser supports the early stages of our mission, including:
- Creating public displays for airshows and museums
- Producing educational outreach materials
- Building visibility through media and community presentations
If you believe in honoring the past while building something meaningful for the future, we’d be honored to have your support.
️ Every contribution helps us keep this legacy flying.
