The purpose of Challah for Hope is to combat food insecurity through the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam, making the world a better place. With donating through the Hillel organization, it allows us to unite as a community with a variety of different backgrounds. Coming together as one, our challah loaves are intended to lower food insecurity within the State College area. When you receive a loaf of challah bread from us, the money donated goes towards organizations that benefit those who are food insecure in our community and global communities as a whole.
