Penn Community

Hi, my name is Conor, I live on Penn Road, although originally from Northern Ireland, and have been living in this community for around 22 years.
I've met some great friends in the area, and consider Penn as an awesome community, which was demonstrated during COVID, whilst my wife was going through cancer at the time, and although this fundraiser is not about myself or my wife, it's about how this community came together as a 'strong community' with little acts of kindness during that period.
I've been a fundraiser before and some of the charities I have worked for include the local Compton Hospice and The Acorns Children's Hospice (who sent me a letter of 'thanks' for being the highest ever street fundraiser, helping to raise over £250k), because these charities are local to me and needed my support, which I am grateful to have had the opportunity to help and support local families and children.
On this occasion, I want to raise some funds to help one of our local community businesses that feeds us, not only with the finest chips in the country, but feeds us with friendliness, respectfulness and a true community spirit, which you will find at Pennfield Plaice chippy.
Sadly, our local chippy was vandalised with the windows being smashed in causing substantial damage, as you can see in the profile picture of this fundraiser page.
So I am asking our community to show support to help replace the windows, supply shutters and perhaps CCTV. Sadly, the business insurance only covers internal and Prince (owner) doesn't own the building so would need to cover the cost himself.
Any over raise will be used to feed the community, and the owner Prince has agreed to offer free food for the homeless or community on a date to be agreed with any surplus funds that have been raised.
Anything you can give no matter how small would be hugely appreciated and make a huge difference, so please help with however little or much as you can. Thank you in advance.
As a footnote, this fundraiser was inspired by my 15yr old son Rehím who works at the chippy, and treated like a King by Prince.
