Support Willmores to feed Llandough NHS Staff

This page previously raised money to buy a replacement laptop for the organisers of the Helping Hands group

With that goal now being completed I thought it would make sense to leave the page open to allow Penarth residents to support another worthy related cause

the folks at Willmores 1938 have, using their own resources, provided 100 meals to the exhausted staff at Llandough hospital directly treating patients with Covid.  While it is amazing they have done this themselves thus far clearly this is not sustainable

NHS staff are under considerable pressure during this time. We are getting reports that NHS staff are finding it hard to get basic food whilst on shift.

willmores will provide ready cook homemade meals for NHS staff to take home or into work to keep them going. They are also teaming up with local traders to source produce - Trying to keep it local supporting the whole community and jobs.

They will be aim to deliver 100 meals a week at a cost of £5 per meal funding permitting. A hot homemade lunch or dinner with a drink or homemade sandwich with drink and crisps.

They will not be making any profit on this

Frontline NHS staff are looking after us so we need to look after them.

It is simple. Pledge money here and all of the proceeds will go to feeding NHS staff during this crisis.
