On June 2nd, my grandpa was supposed to talk to immigration about the next steps in gaining his citizenship. Instead, ICE came in, arrested him, held him in a detention center, and will deport. We have been working to get his citizenship for YEARS. We've been doing it the legal way like the government wants us to. And yet ICE took him away and deported him early. He is a kind man who has helped raised me and taught me how to defend myself from the brutality of my bullies. Now my family and I are working our hardest to get him back. The financial costs to cover the legal fees and supporting my grandpa in Mexico have not been easy. Please, I beg you, any help is more than enough to bring back a father, a teacher, a fighter, a brother, and my grandfather back into our arms in home.
