Help Cancel RIMPAC Confront War Exercises

The Cancel RIMPAC Campaign is hosting a people’s summit and mass mobilization this June 29 and 30 in San Diego to confront and protest the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) war exercises that are being conducted in occupied Hawai`i this year.

RIMPAC, like all joint military exercises, are more than just "exercises" and much more than just for practice. These are shows of force against rival states and their militaries, they are hyper-nationalistic advertisements for military recruitment, especially for working class and oppressed youth, and they are testing grounds for some of the deadliest technology known to humankind and a goldmine for the weapons companies looking to profit off of them. In short, joint military exercises are part and parcel of future wars in development.

We plan to mobilize several hundred organizers at the end of June, including students, workers, anti-war and environmental justice activists, human rights defenders, and labor and faith leaders from around the world. With 100% grassroots funding versus their multi-billion dollar budget, we invite you to support and participate in our campaign by making a donation. All funds will go directly to support the campaign and ensure that we are able to execute it without sacrificing our message to the interests of private investors or government loaners!

We have a fundraising goal of $2,000 from individual donations to cover a portion of the costs to confront RIMPAC this summer. All of your donations will go directly towards funding our efforts to spotlight the demands of working people, climate activists, international solidarity organizations, women and oppressed nations that have been marginalized by US militarism and imperialism.
