Cycling for a Cause – On a Budget!

A group of us will be taking on a unique challenge to raise funds for LATCH, an incredible charity that supports children with cancer and their families.

On Saturday, 22nd March 2025, we’ll be cycling from the northernmost point of our patch—Brecon Telephone Exchange—to our southernmost point—Forest Farm BT Depot in Cardiff. Sounds simple? Well, there’s a twist…

We each have a budget of just £50 to buy and “pimp up” our bikes for the ride. That means there will be plenty of vintage fold-up bikes on display, alongside some equally “vintage” and out-of-shape riders!

It’s all for an amazing cause, and we’d love your support. Every donation helps LATCH continue their vital work for children and families facing unimaginable challenges.

More information about affected by childhood cancer, ensuring that no family ever faces the journey alone. We provide bespoke emotional, practical, and financial support to children undergoing treatment for Cancer at the Children's Hospital for Wales that is responsive, compassionate, practical and hopeful. At any one time, we support around 140 families, with an average of 55 new children referred each year.
