Cycling 100km for KidzCan Zimbabwe – Help Me Make a Difference! ‍

Hi everyone, my name is Tarisai, and this year, I’ve set myself two big goals: to give back to my community and to push myself with a major fitness challenge. That’s why I’ve decided to cycle 100km to raise £1000 for KidzCan Zimbabwe, an incredible organisation that supports children battling cancer.

Why KidzCan Zimbabwe?

Cancer is something we often associate with adults, but childhood cancer is just as real and devastating. Unfortunately, many children in Zimbabwe don’t have access to the life-saving treatment they need. KidzCan Zimbabwe provides chemotherapy drugs, blood products, CT & MRI scans, transport allowances, prosthetics, counselling, and support groups – all essential services for children fighting cancer. Your donation will directly help these young warriors and their families.

Why a 100km Ride?

I ride my bike almost every day for my commute, but I’ve never done anything like this before! I wanted to challenge myself with a fitness goal this year while doing something meaningful. Right now, I’m taking on an 80-day fitness challenge, cycling almost daily to prepare for this ride. It’s tough, but nothing compared to what these kids go through every day.
