PEBLing for a carbon free future

Florida - the beautiful sunshine state - is at the forefront of climate change. Rising sea levels, saltwater intrusion, stronger hurricanes and a state government that will not allow the word Climate Change in official communications....Florida is ready for climate solutions.

I will ride this electric tricycle, called PEBL, from Miami Beach to Jacksonville and try to inspire everyone I meet to contact their representatives in Congress about passing effective climate change legislation.

The PEBL makes it very easy to get talking with people and once in conversation, it is easy to get talking about solutions to the climate crisis.

One such solution is putting a price on carbon. And Citizens' Climate Lobby, which I am a member of, lobbies with every single member of Congress, Democrat and Republican,  promoting carbon fee and dividend legislation.

CCL's approach emphasizes building relationships and trust, listening, and working together beyond partisanship. It's worth spreading the word about!
