Pearson Family - Community Support

Pearson family - housefire. 

On Tuesday (3/11/2020),  the Pearson family had not long been home from spending time with family on Melbourne Cup day. They turned on the evaporative air-con unit, and within less than 30minutes, a neighbour alerted them to a fire that  had spread into the roof of their home. Fortunately, the family and pets, were  evacuated safely.  Much gratitude to the crews from Edithvale and Fire Rescue Victoria station 90 (Patterson River) for quickly containing and suppressing the fire, but unfortunately, extensive damage to the property had already occurred.

In the days to follow, it has become evident to the family that they have nothing in terms of personal items, clothing, electronics, furniture and of course all the children's many treasures

With the support of Brett and Leanne, we are reaching out to our community for your support to help the family move forward and ensure their four children have the basic essentials in a timely manner.

Leanne and Brett have been overwhelmed by the amazing community support already and want to extend their gratitude to everyone.
