Why Peanut Butter & Jammies?
- Peanut butter is a staple at all food banks and rescue missions due to its high protein/high fat content and shelf stability.
- Pajamas (and long johns) provide comfort at night, but for a person experiencing homeless, pajamas act as an underlayer for cold days and nights on the street. Candidly, a dry set of pajamas or long johns could save someone’s life.
