Join us for a powerful day of unity, peace, and purpose in Pittsburgh.

PeaceBURGH: Peace Over Pistols – Back-to-School Unity Bash is more than an event — it’s a movement to uplift our youth, break the cycle of gun violence, and give students a confident, safe, and supported start to the school year.

Our Mission

Too many young lives have been impacted by violence, bullying, and poverty. For some kids, something as simple as not having a decent pair of shoes can become a source of pain or conflict.

We’re changing that — by showing our youth they are seen, supported, and surrounded by a city that believes in peace, empowerment, and education.

What We’re Giving

With your help, we’re providing:

• 200 Pairs of Brand-New Nike Air Force 1s

• 200 Backpacks filled with school supplies

• Free Haircuts for students

• Free Food & Entertainment for families

• Water Fun, Bounce House & Games

• 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament – $1,000 Grand Prize

• Live Music, DJs, Creative Vendors, Community Resources

We’ll also be collecting gently used shoes through our donation bins to give even more kids an opportunity to walk into school with confidence.

Each full student package (shoes, backpack, supplies, haircuts, etc.) costs $170.

Every donation brings us closer to changing one more life.

• $170 = 1 student fully supported

• $850 = 5 students supported

• $1,500 = 9 students supported

• $2,500+ = 15+ students supported
