Peace Road USA 2021: Bridging Cultures for Peace

Peace is achievable.

The Peace Road 2021 USA Northeastern leg of the tour will be held in the state of New York and will include a Peace Road Youth Service project, in partnership with Youth and Students for Peace (YSP); and a "Bridging Cultures for Peace" cultural event.

Peace Road Service Project at Taqwa Community Farm
Service sows seeds for peace.  The Peace Road service project will be held at Taqwa Community Farm, a half-acre farm located in the Bronx, NY, which serves a diverse cultural community.   Part of the produce grown on the farm is donated to the community, including eggs from 21 hens on the farm.

The Service Project participants will be youth, giving and serving unconditionally to the community.    The one-day project on August 18th will include supporting plots of land, planting crops, and nature conservation education.  Proceeds from this Go Fund Me will support this youth service project, serving the community.

Bridging Cultures for Peace cultural event
Through the sharing of culture creates unity throughout the world.  The Bridging Cultures for Peace cultural event on August 19th, to be held at Joyce Kilmer Park in the Bronx,  will include peace talk, youth performers,  and other cultural performances.

Peace Road Vision
In an address at the United Nations Dr. Sun Myung Moon, founder of the International Peace Highway initiative said:

“This tunnel [international peace highway] can help make the world a single community at last…Think of how much money the world is wasting on war. The time has come for nations to work together, pool their resources and, as the prophet Isaiah taught, beat our swords into plowshares and pruning hooks.”

“I want everyone to be able to travel the International Peace Highway by car or even bicycle from Cape Town to Santiago, from London to New York. I want taking a trip your sweetheart through any country around the world to be as easy as visiting your hometown.”   - Dr.  Hak Ja Han Moon
