www.peacebroco.com Peace Bro Co Wildlife Rescue is a non-funded animal rescue group, servicing the Geelong, Bellarine peninsula and Surf Coast regions of Victoria. Peace Bro Co was founded, and is run, by Ben Dekker who volunteers his time rescuing wildlife in need and engages with the community to bring awareness to wildlife. However receives no funding for his much needed work. He also volunteers his time to Wildlife Victoria, and almost every day he will attend at least one rescue through this service.
However Peace Bro Co stands for more than just the rescue and care of our native wildlife, it is a movement towards making this a better world for people and animals alike. It aims to bring awareness to help stop the destruction of our planet and free our own minds. We engage in educating the community and schools, and actively participate in anything that helps raise awareness for our native animals.
Our mission is to rescue, nurture and release native wildlife. We aim to inspire people to respect and connect with nature. Because we are nature! We aim to bring awareness to the beauty of animals and the natural world, and that we humans are protectors of this environment. To do this we need to raise the level of consciousness in order to bring about a planet that co-exists. We need to empower people to be able to love themselves and the world around them, to find their true self and be at peace.
We aim to bring awareness to capitalism, socialism, greed and the effects our society has on the environment. To bring attention to our thoughts, our actions, and how they affect our connection to the source, nature and the universe. We want to help people let go of any fears and anxiety, to relinquish all ego and the conditioning beliefs that build a wall in our mind and disconnect our hearts from the whole. We hope to inspire awareness of the power of your energy, and how your thoughts create your feelings, your feelings create your actions, and how this affects the world around you. We focus on helping people heal, not just animals.
Ben's purpose is to provide a reliable, 24 hour Emergency Wildlife Rescue Service, consisting of a group of skilled volunteers, and to be there for the animals in any time of need. To provide the very best of care to these animals while in rehabilitation, and ultimately release wildlife back into the wild. He has spent 40 years discovering the wonders, and not too wonderful, experiences this planet has to offer, and has always felt connected with this natural world from a young age. A world of bugs, spiders, reptiles, cats, dogs and all kinds of creatures. He has come to learn he was born with a purpose, and that was to be part of nature, to heal himself, and teach people about the awesomeness that comes from the essential vibration this planet radiates for our healthy existence.
To continue to do this important and imperative work for our wildlife, Ben needs your help, and there are so many ways you can help! Firstly, this work requires money. Costs run high from buying food and specialised milk powders, medication, nutritional supplements, medical supplies, fruit, rescue equipment and fuel, and as mentioned, he receives no funding and relies solely on donations. So you can donate here knowing that 100% of funds are going directly to wildlife care. They also make awesome presents for family and friends.
