Channon is a friend of mine who at the age of 32 became a wheelchair user due to a botched spinal surgery that the surgeon refused to take responsibility for and fix while there was still time to reverse the nerve damage. Channon’s family is currently in the process of a malpractice case against the doctor - him and his lawyers appear to have the biggest cojones in the world the way they are shamelessly trying to deflect responsibility from themselves. Channon and her husband have 3 kids, the responsibility of earning an income has fallen solely on her husband after Channon’s injury, however now he is also encountering his own health issues that require surgery and daily management, which he actually has to sacrifice because they have no other choice but to work instead of being able to take the time off to treat and heal!
