PDXstripperstrike
We are a collective of dancers, DJs, bartenders, managers and owners strip clubs in Portland Oregon. We believe that it is essential that the adult industry help develop and implement cultural sensitivity training including but not limited to race, gender, sexuality, and assault prevention. The first place to start with this is the management and staff teams.
Because many owners flagrantly ignore their contractors civil rights, there are many people who have advocated for this training. These funds will be used partially as a relief fund for those who have not received unemployment during the lockdown. They will also be used for future fundraising, legal fees, applications for permits so that we can picket particular clubs, as well as much needed financial support which could go to creating a dynamic community of dancers who can operate without fear of retribution.
