On April 13th, 2017, we, five students from Pioneer Charter School of Science and our advisors, will be leaving to help underprivileged children at the heart of India, New Delhi. India has a large percentage of orphaned and needy children who are unable to receive the proper care and love that they deserve. Our goal for this trip is to visit some of these kids and provide them with gifts that they can enjoy. We plan to give them homemade hygiene packs, toys, and even a lunch during our planned trip over there. Within the week, we will visit an orphanage, a  public school, and a  school for the blind. All of these children are important, and we want to spend time with them to let them know that they are important.

Living in America, with the lives we have, we are given great opportunities to a quality education, a warm bed to sleep on, and people that love us. With all of the blessings that we have, we wish to give to those who are less fortunate than us. We are also aiming to put lasting smiles on the faces of kids we meet.

However, as students with a limited budget, we do not have enough money to fund our entire  trip. We need your hep in raising the needed funds to make this trip as successful as it can be. With your help, we will be able to give these children hope and make a lasting difference in their lives. We may not be changing the whole world, but we are trying to do what we can to make the world we live in a better place one act of kindness at a time. Any and everything counts. That said, everything raised will be allocated towards helping the children we meet.
