Honduras 2015 Mission Trip

Brian and I have an opportunity this spring from May 19th through May 28th, 2015 to take a team on a mission trip to Balfate, Honduras, and to work at an orphanage called Bethesda School for Boys. On the trip we will install four sets of Solar Panel Systems and do concrete reinforcement of the school’s foundation and road. The property is on a mountain, and erosion has damaged the buildings quite badly. As you can see from the picture above, without reinforcement, the main building will continue to erode, and it will eventually crumble and fall down the mountain.
We will be going down there to spend 10 days doing the main building solar panel system installation, concrete, and some welding. We also will hike up to two of the mountain villages and install lighting solar panel systems.
We need to raise around $2,000 each before April 30th. I know that $4,000 seems like a lot; but with your help, I know that it will happen. Anything above and beyond that will go to offset someone else on our team that may not have raised enough funds.
