Over the weekend, my best friends and former roommates, Karina and Caitlynn, were impacted by a fire at their apartment complex, Parkwest Apartments. While most of their building burned completely, their unit, thankfully, was spared from direct fire damage. However, their apartment suffered severe smoke damage, leaving many of their belongings completely ruined or unusable.

They’ve since secured a new apartment, but now face the overwhelming task of replacing essential items such as furniture, clothing, kitchenware, and other daily necessities. Starting over comes with unexpected costs, and the emotional and financial toll has been incredibly heavy.

This fundraiser was created to help ease the financial burden on them as they rebuild and regain stability after such a difficult event. Any support, whether through donations or by sharing this page, will make a meaningful difference in helping them move forward.
