Not long ago my mom, Joyce Lanier, after being diagnosed with cancer left behind her home of over 40 years to spend the time she had left closer to her children and grandchildren. The doctors had given her six months to live but she beat the odds and enjoyed a rich three years of life. Her new home was Winnwood Retirement Community in Marietta, GA. She was surrounded by incredible, loving caretakers that supported her through her cancer, through Covid, and through the final days of her life. As we celebrate Joyce, our family wishes to give back to those that loved her above and beyond and made her new home feel as welcome as her old one. We're raising funds to give back to those who gave so much.
