Paxton Pantry

Paxton Green Time Bank has been supporting isolated and vulnerable people in the community since 2008. They delivered over 6000 food parcels to isolating families and older people during the pandemic. The food poverty faced in the community is something that PGTB is committed to continuing to address, and the new Paxton Pantry is the latest phase of this work. Opening 28th June, the Pantry will offer a dignified and choice-based solution to supporting families to access healthy affordable food. Members pay £4.50 for a weekly shop with a typical basket value of £35-40. PGTB will be supported by the Felix project to access supermarket surplus stock and fundraising to ensure that healthy staples are available every week.
