Care Home Fundraising- Pavilion

Hi My Name is Amelia McCulla and I am aged 14 years. I decided I wanted to do something for either a charity this year or something to help people in the community. My Mam Alison manages a Care Home in NE area and she is always talking about extra activities and fund raising for her residents to improve their quality of life and well-being. So I decided I wanted to help her to raise funds for the care homes comfort funds after joining in with the summer fair recently and meeting some of her lovely residents … This will help towards raising the funds towards either a mini bus, or creating a lovely garden area for residents to enjoy and providing external trips and outings as-well as in house activities for residents to enjoy.

I am going to walk 15 wainwright mountain peaks in Cumbria over 48 hours camping over night for rest breaks on 30th and 31st August with my dad there to supervise me and encourage me on my way, every peak a picture will be taken and the map ticked off.
