My Eagle Scout Project at the BMIA
Donation protected
My name is Paulie Wenger, I am 16 years old and I’m planning my Eagle Scout Project at the Browns Mills Improvement Association (BMIA) Building on August 8 and 9, 2015.

I will be building two picnic table, 2 horseshoe pits and a bocce ball court. My reasons for doing this are:
1. To promote community involvement between the various nonprofit organizations through sportsmanship. I hope one day we could have friendly horseshoe matches between the BMIA and the VFW or the Lions Club.
2. To honor my Great Grandparents, Charles and Ann Graf, who served as President and Secretary of the BMIA for over 2 decades. After they died, the building was officially named, Graf-Stull-Borzell Community Center to celebrate their contribution to the town.

If you can help me in anyway, I would appreciate it so very much. I will have a crew of nearly 100 volunteers, I will make sure they are all aware you have donated. I will also hold an Eagle Court Of Honor at the building and will have a table with your business information, cards and will mark the table “Please Support my Sponsors”. Also, during my remarks to my guests at the ceremony, I will personally thank every person that helped me. That’s how much your donation means to me!
The items I am looking for are:
(2x6x12 lumber) x 22
(2x6x8 lumber) x 26
Rebar x 40
4 bags of sand
2 bags of concrete
(Screws and Nails)
7.5 cubic yards base rock
3.65 cubic yards decomposed granite
3.65 cubic yards oyster shell flower
About me:
For the past 5 years, I have put my heart and soul into the Boy Scouts of America. I've completed National Youth Leadership Training, earned Messengers of Peace, I am a Leave No Trace Trainer and have been inducted into The Order of the Arrow. I have been the Senior Patrol Leader of my scout troop twice, and have held leadership positions for 4 years consectutively.
I attended 2013 National Jamboree in West Virginia, and have camped overnight 130 days - including 4 years of backpacking over Spring Break. I will also be backpacking at the prestigeous Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico in the summer or 2016.

I've also volunteered over 100 hours of community service to my community.

I'm the President of Vincentown's Venture Crew.

Outside of scouting, I keep busy with 3 sports (Swimming, Track and Football)

I'm a member of Medford DeMolay, and I work as a Lifeguard with my sister, Michaela.

Finally, I'm a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do, presently working on my 4th Degree.

I am about to start my Junior Year in High School and will have 3 AP courses and JROTC. Now is the time to complete my Eagle Project.
Your donation to this cause would not only help me fufill my goal but it would help the citizens of Pemberton Township.
Thank you for reading all of this! I will update my photos as the project gets started.
Respectfully Yours in Scouting,
Paulie Wenger
