Paula Elias Family Fund

Paula Elias was my best friend for more than two decades, walking beside me through career ups and downs, community service projects,  pregnancies, motherhood, health crises, aging parents, life, death, and everything in between.   Beyond being a stalwart friend, she was a passionate community activist and entrepreneur with a brilliant creative mind, wildly skilled at bringing folks together around ideas and unapologetically changing the world for the better.  

After being diagnosed with breast cancer over three years ago, she went on an incredible journey of healing.  Not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually.   She vulnerably allowed herself to be supported in ways that were uncomfortable and powerfully transformative.   Her fierce love for her family only strengthened along the way, and she found so much joy in her time and connection with them.   The journey brought her ever closer to God as she learned to give up the driver's seat, deepen her faith, and allow Spirit to work freely in her life.   

Her passing from this world on 9/9/20 has left all who loved her devastated, particularly her husband and children.  It happened so quickly, there was no time to prepare or process beyond surrounding her with family & love.  This sweet family has been through so much the last several years.  My hope is that by offering some financial assistance, we can ease some small piece of their pain.
