My name is Ryan Leone. Today, I’m a successful author, a dedicated father and husband, but for almost two decades my life was gripped by an addition to heroin and other drugs, an addition which ultimately caused me to serve 5 years in Federal Prison. Since my son Nikko was born two years ago, I’ve made a concerted effort to stay clean and make good with all those I hurt, and I’ve spent a significant amount of my own money to support causes that help those struggling with addiction.

Last fall, I tragically lost my dear friend Paul Harper to an overdose that could have been easily prevented if he’d had access to a legal and inexpensive treatment called Narcan. This medication is considered the first line in treatment for opioid overdose and has been used for decades by hospitals and first responders.

I’ve recently started a charity called The Paul Project to honor the memory of Paul in the hope of preventing the tragedy of opioid overdose from happening to others. My goal is simple: to provide free Narcan to anyone who needs it. I’ve already sent out hundreds of doses, purchased out of pocket, and I firmly believe that this will help save many lives.

This is where you come in.

I’m asking you to help me raise money for a cause that’s often overlooked due to the stigma of drug addiction, to help save lives, and to get the word out. As part of our charity launch, i’ll be holding three love events on YouTube , July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, giving out a total of 12 prizes donated by some of the biggest names in the world of art.

A $30 donation gives 3 chances to win, though larger donations are much appreciated.

The prizes are:

FOUR paintings by celebrated pop artist Sinister Monopoly, each highly collectable and valued at $4,600.

THREE customized spray paint cans created by Sinister Monopoly, each valued $500.

Snake Ordinance blotter art created by Geoff Derose and Zane Kesey (son of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest author Ken Kesey), valued at $60.

A signed and personally-inscribed copy of my bestselling novel Wasting Talent, a $50 value.
