Hello, We are Paul & Julie Nugent! We believe children are a gift from God and we desire to have a child of our own. We have tried to do so biologically, unsuccessfully. We began praying about how God would have us grow our family. We felt lead to pursue adoption.

We view our adoption as a huge ministry opportunity as well!! Imagine the impact we’ll have on this child, growing up in a loving, Christian family, teaching them the love of Christ and the ripple effects that has. Adoption is a beautiful reflection of Christ as well as he adopts us into his family when we become believers.

We’ve chosen Christian Homes & Family Services based in Abilene,TX as our adoption agency. The breakdown of the adoption process & fees is as follows.

1. Pre-application $150 (✔️)

2. Orientation $350 (Paid ✔️) Waiting to attend.

3. Application fee $1,000 (funded ✔️)

4. Home Study $6,000 (funded ✔️)

5. Marketing fee $6,000

6. Matching fee $18,000

7. Lawyer $3,000

8. Finalize $2,000

We have begun saving & fundraising for this heart felt journey. Once our home study is completed we can then begin applying for grants and other type fund raising aids as well. But even with the help of those adoption is costly. Our goal of raising $36,500 seems like an overwhelming goal, but we know that with God all things are possible. (Fundraising goal amounts will be updated periodically as funds become available.) Please consider how God may want to use you to help us meet our goal and dream of parenthood. Any amount, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated and such an encouragement & blessing to us. We are excited to see how God will guide and provide during our adoption journey.
