Our dear friend Patt Savage, Mum to Lex Spahr and to us all, is struggling to find affordable housing in the Northwest, which she has been calling home for years.
With the rising rent and nothing being available within her fixed income, there is a very real threat that she will need to move way out of our area or even possibly be put out onto the street.
Pat has been a friend, mom and support to many and a steady fixture in the development of the All Ages community at a time when there was no place for young people who were into music and arts to find refuge and support.
Please help us to give back to one of the pillars and a consistent fixture in our community and help her find a place to live, while we search for more affordable accommodations within her budget.
We only have 20 days left before she has to leave her current residence. Time is of the essence!
The money will go toward getting Patt immediately into a place to live and supplement any costs for housing that her fixed income will not cover for at least a year. Patt has been suffering from complications from Covid and currently can not work.
Lex has been working tirelessly for 14 months with a low-income specialist and has contacted at least 248 properties and has Patt on 87 waiting lists for housing.
Sometimes it takes up to a year or quite often more to wait on a list until affordable housing will become available.
Give whatever you can that is within your budget, so we can keep this gem of a person near us, happy and healthy!
Thank You!!!!
