Patriots Helping Vets' mission is simple, we help US Service Veterans heal through horticultural therapy "for a handshake".  Whether it is supplying seeds/clones, lights, nutrients, or just sharing helpful knowledge and giving our time, Patriots Helping Vets along with Seeds for Vets has helped hundreds of veterans get off heavy medications and given them a sustainable activity that brings them peace and joy in their daily life, along with beneficial medication upon harvest- all we ask for in return is verification of service. Our services are 100% free for Veterans. 

     After helping hundreds of vets grow their own medicine, companion herbs, and veggies, Patriots Helping Vets and Seeds for Vets are asking for your help to take our mission to the next level. Our dream is to work full time helping Veterans heal and find peace through horticultural therapy, our dream is to continue this mission 100% free for veterans - to do this we are going Non-Profit.

For the last few years we have been operating solely on what we can raise privately, but mostly our day jobs have foot the bills. This has hampered our growth and not allowed us to reach as many veterans as we would like, this is why we are going non-profit to raise more funds and allow us to focus more time on Patriots Helping Vets.

     One of the primary uses for these funds will be for our legal fund/warchest, to be used for a good lawyer as well as an accountant to help get us started. We want a solid foundation to build from. However, since doing the Harvest Cup we have received many new requests and have other pressing monetary needs as well.

Other uses for the funds besides Non-Profit Lawyer and Accountant will be:

-Backlog of Shipping requests for lights and equipment (it really adds up!)
-Materials and supplies for shipping logistics including but not limited to: Envelopes and boxes, tape, computer and printer for cheaper labeling, monthly postage subscription fees, bubblewrap etc
-New Labels and Stickers
-Website and hosting costs
-costs associated with operating our communal grows

We have been very blessed with incredible support and trust from the community, but so often we are hindered by not having our non-profit status or a fund to work from, your support here will help immensely with both and give us a better foundation from which to grow. We are so appreciative to all our previous donors, and thank you very much to those that will support this. We promise to use these funds in a manner that will make you and the Veteran community proud.
